Year 4 had an amazing time visiting Murton Park as part of their ‘Invasion’ learning context.

They spent the day in Danelaw working at ‘my lord’s’ village where they developed their skills in pottery, invasion tactics, flour production and bread making. They also practiced how to defend the village which was super important because they had a Saxon Raider try to attack!
