Firefighter Dave Bell from Cleveland Fire Brigade visited to lead important safety assemblies.

He talked to the children about how to stay safe around bonfires and shared important safety messages around staying safe with fireworks.

He also spoke to the children about how to keep their pets safe and what to do if their clothing caught fire.

With the older pupils he talked about the work that firefighters do to keep the community safe and how this can be impeded by anti-social behaviour around the town.
