The Merchant of Venice

On Wednesday 10th June, Year 2 pupils from Class 6, Year 4 pupils from Class 11 and Year 6 pupils from Class joined together with pupils from other primary, secondary and special schools from across the Tees Valley at Middlesbrough Theatre to perform ‘The Merchant of Venice’.

This performance marks the end of a year long programme of work on this play.  Pupils have been working alongside their teachers and professionals from the Royal Shakespeare Company to practice and refine their scenes and thoroughly enjoyed this experience of performing on a stage in a theatre for parents, carers and friends.
