The day was packed full of goals, resilience, and teamwork. The tournament consisted of a league format with group games
on the morning and knockout format on the afternoon to try and win the coveted trophy.
After a shaky start to the day, Archibald came away with 3 draws, one loss and one win. There were some
great goals scored and a desire to pull together as a team in the latter stages of the morning which
helped the team qualify for the afternoon stages.
Awaiting the team in the afternoon were some tough opponents. Fortunately, the team came out victorious,
winning 4 games and played out a draw in the last fixture. It was clear to see the commitment, teamwork
and positive attitudes of the squad helped secure the win.
